RESCHEDULED FROM JANUARY 11TH

This workshop explains how meditation and breathing can benefit your physical and mental wellness. In this Part 1 workshop we will learn:

* Body Scan Meditation: Learn how to tune into your body and mind, releasing tension and cultivating a sense of calm.
* Extended Exhale Breathing: Experience the transformative power of conscious breathing to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
* Supported Meditation Postures: Find comfort and ease in meditation with gentle, supportive postures.

Cost: $45/person

This workshop is led by Pam Cox a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher, a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is also a certified Mindfulness-Based Pain Relief Practitioner through Integrative Pain Science Institute and has completed many continuing education courses on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Pam believes that taking time for breath work, meditation, and relaxation can greatly improve overall health and wellness and integrates these concepts into her weekly Relax, Renew and Restore class at KARMA, as well as her personal meditation practice.

winter wellness series (2)
In Part 2 of this Ayurveda series, we will explore the deeper layers of Ayurvedic theory, focusing on the Doshas and their unique qualities. Understanding your doshic constitution is the first step to achieving balance, and we will help you identify how your mind and body express Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Then, we will dive into the six tastes—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent—discussing how each influences your doshas and how to use them strategically to support overall well-being.
By the end of the session, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the qualities of the doshas and practical advice on how to incorporate the six tastes into your diet to maintain harmony within yourself.
Attendance at our Part 1 of this series is not required!
All are welcome.
