E-RYT 200; YACEP; RYT 500

Azalia, also known as Sally, travelled the world as the child of a Military family. Her travels have taken her to many beautiful and exotic places. Her traveling experiences have nurtured a love for foreign languages. She is fluent in several languages. Sally also holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Human Resource Leadership. A student of Pilates in the early 2000's, her interest in yoga began in 2008. In 2013, she began to take yoga classes in Elizabethtown, KY. Her love for yoga was further enhanced when she studied and practiced under the guidance of experienced yoga practitioners. Yoga became more than just physical movement; it became a mental and spiritual journey. Always a student first, Sally has been an active yoga teacher in the community for several years; working with a wide range of people and abilities. She has been consistently practicing yoga for many years. Her teaching style reflects the principles and foundation of the Ashtanga Yoga Method. This method of yoga embodies internal and external observances, focus, movement and breath. Sally emphasizes the importance of proper alignment to make yoga accessible to everyone. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training with the KARMA School of Yoga and Wellness and is a E-RYT 200 (Experienced Yoga Teacher); YACEP (Continuing Education Provider) and a RYT 500 (Yoga Alliance's highest registration). She continues to study under the guidance of experienced yoga practitioners. Her love for yoga has been shared with yoga students with the local community, including veterans, Camp Hendon (a camp for children with diabetes), Team RWB of Ft. Knox, and the Hardin County Library.
