Azalia Wood

RYT 200

Azalia, also known as Sally, traveled the world as the child of a military family. Her travels have taken her to many beautiful and exotic places. Through her traveling experiences, she developed a love for languages. She is fluent in both Spanish and German. Azalia was a student of Pilates and practiced this form of movement in the early 2000’s. She first learned about yoga in 2008 through a mutual friend. Her yoga practice was intermittent as she focused more on Pilates. In 2013, she began to take classes at Ntouch. Her love for yoga was further enhanced when she practiced with Elizabeth McNeil. Yoga became more than just physical movement. It became a mental and spiritual healer. Azalia is currently a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 Yoga Teacher having completed the RYS 200 training through the Ntouch School of Yoga and Wellness (aka, KARMA School of Yoga and Wellness) in 2016. Her studies and continuing education are influenced by Elizabeth McNeil, Laura Spaulding, Taylor Hunt, Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, David Garrigues and many more experienced practitioners. Her love for yoga has been shared with the students at KARMA Yoga as well as with Veterans, Camp Hendon-a camp for Diabetic Children, Team RWB-Fort Knox Chapter, and Hardin County Library.
